My nails are no longer peeling and flaking! They are so much healthier after using this base coat exclusively for the last few months. I get good wear time. I just removed polish from 5 days ago -- none of my nails were chipped. Great price. Great maker. Definitely worth a shot if your nails are getting flaky and thin.
I have a hard time getting any base coat to last more than 2 or 3 days. I've had a sticky base coat from another company come off almost like peel off base coat after 2 days. I'm on day 4 using this base coat and I'm just now starting to get a couple chips. That was unheard of for me before this base coat.
Switching to this base coat has also helped my nails grow longer and stronger and has stopped the peeling issues I had with other base coats.
This is 100% my favorite base coat and I'll definitely be buying more. Would love to get it in a bulk refill bottle.
Updating my review because initially I had issues with my nail polish peeling off in one sheet, and it turns out that was because of a different product I had used. Came back to this basecoat after the issues i was having grew out a bit and I love it! My polish stays on so well and I’ve found cremes are staying just as long as specialty polishes on me when typically I’ll get 1-2 days less. Definitely my new favorite base coat.
This base coat is something I've been looking for. I've been dying to try a tacky base coat, but my nails peel and I will NOT use anything with PVB as a base.
With that said, this base coat is not for me. It was tacky, I will give it that. The wide paddle brush is nice. Beyond that, I cannot use this base coat. My nails peeled so badly and my polish chipped.
I'm giving 3 stars because this truly could be someone's holy grail. I so desperately wanted it to be mine. I am so happy that Tyler carries a PVB-free, tacky base coat, but I cannot use it.
