How Restocking Works at Tyler’s Trinkets

One of the most common questions we receive is about when sold-out polishes will return to the shop. Because Tyler’s Trinkets is a small, one-person operation, restocks work a little differently than they might at larger brands. Below is a quick overview so you know what to expect if a shade you love is currently out of stock.
A One-Person Shop
Tyler’s Trinkets is run entirely by me (with occasional packing help from friends and family) from mixing every polish and filling bottles to packing orders, managing the website, and answering emails. When a collection launch or sale brings in a large wave of orders (which I’m incredibly grateful for!), my priority is getting those orders packed and shipped.
Since I haven't figured out how to clone myself yet, I can only focus on one task at a time so restocking polishes usually happens after existing orders are fulfilled. That means it may take a little time for sold-out shades to return, but rest assured they are on the list!
Which Polishes Will Be Restocked?
If a polish sells out, the best place to check its status is the product page.

Limited edition, retiring, or discontinued shades will appear in the “Last Chance” collection and will have a notice on their product page. Once those sell out, they will not be restocked.
- If a polish is sold out and it is not in the Last Chance collection and does not have a retirement notice, it will be restocked eventually.
If you’re hoping to grab a specific shade, make sure to use the “Notify Me When Available” button on the product page. These sign-ups help us prioritize which polishes get restocked first! The shades with the most requests usually move to the top of the restock list.
Order Processing Times
Our current order processing time is always displayed in the banner at the top of the website. This time reflects how long it may take before your order ships.

Reply directly to your order confirmation email, or
- Use the contact form on the website (please include your order number)

Adding a Restocked Polish to an Existing Order
If you have an order that has not shipped yet, and a polish you wanted gets restocked, you may be able to add it to your order.
You can do this by:
- Replying to your order confirmation email and requesting that the polish be added (this is the preferred method for us because it guarantees everything is shipped together), or
- Placing a second order using the same email address and shipping address
If a second order is placed, I will attempt to combine the orders and ship them together, refunding any excess shipping costs when the order is packed (unless you request otherwise).
Please note that this may not always be possible if your order has already been packed, even if a shipping label hasn’t been created yet.
